È arrivato il momento giusto per una recensione, visto che è da un po’ di tempo che non vi faccio una recensione di maschere – non preoccupatevi perché ne arriveranno delle altre, visto che ho fatto acquisti da Sephora – ed oggi vi parlo della Egg Cream Mask di Too Cool For School.
Il marchio coreano l’ho preso per l’appunto da Sephora durante le feste di Natale in Italia e non era scontata, bensì a prezzo pieno: l’ho pagata comunque poco, 4.50 euro. Ho controllato ed è disponibile anche da Manor, per 5.90 CHF. Ma di cosa si tratta? Allora è una tipica maschera in tessuto (microfibra) idratante ed illuminante – dello stesso marchio trovate anche altre soluzioni – che dovrete lasciare in posa dai 10 ai 20 minuti. Io ho fatto circa 10-15 minuti di posa!
It’s the right time for a review about masks – don’t worry I have a lots of masks that I bought at Sephora and I’ll speak about them in the future – and today I’m talking about the Egg Cream Mask by Too Cool For School.
The Korean brand I got it at Sephora during the Christmas holidays in Italy for 4.50 euros. I checked and is also available at Manor, for 5.90 CHF. What is it? It is a typical mask in moisturizing and illuminating microfiber – the same brand offer you many different solutions – which you will have to leave on your face for 10 to 20 minutes. I did about 10-15 minutes of laying!
Prima di passare al risultato volevo dirvi che la maschera si propone con un supporto di rete – credo per non farla appiccicare – ed è davvero moooolto bagnata: al suo interno vi sono estratto di cocco e di uovo. Per quanto riguarda l’odore devo dire che non mi ha molto entusiasmata, anzi, ma la cosa che mi ha lasciato di più a bocca aperta è il siero presente al suo interno. Quando aprite la maschera fate molta attenzione a non fare disastri – mettetevi vicino ad un lavandino – perché vi è siero non solo nella maschera, ma anche nella bustina! Vi suggerisco di munirvi di un pezzo di carta dopo che l’avete messa, perché a me scivolava sempre la parte sopra al labbro ed ho rischiato di mangiare il siero più volte…non è piacevole XD
Before going to the result I wanted to tell you that the mask is proposed with a support and it is really wet: inside there are coconut and egg extract. As for the smell I must say that I wasn’t very impressed, indeed, but the thing that left me more open-mouthed is the serum present inside. When you open the mask, be very careful because there is a serum not only in the mask, but also in the sachet! I suggest you bring a piece of paper after you put it, because I always slipped the part above the lip and I risked eating the serum several times … it is not pleasant XD
Ad ogni modo, ho fatto la mia maschera e non ho notato alcun rossore. Il viso rimane veramente molto bagnato non appena la rimuovete e la sensazione di freschezza e forte; io, per mio volere, ho preso un dischetto di cotone per tamponare il siero sul volto perché anche volendolo massaggiare era davvero troppo. Una volta rimosso il siero in eccesso dal viso posso dirvi che la pelle è effettivamente idrata e luminosa, ma noto anche che sento dei piccoli pizzicori qua e là…non so se sia dato da un fatto in particolare, ma non vi è alcun rossore e quindi è un fatto accettabile. Visto che l’odore non mi fa impazzire, ho passato un dischetto con l’acqua micellare bio di Nuxe.
Nel complesso posso ritenervi soddisfatta, visto che avevo bisogno proprio di una bella rinfrescata alla pelle dopo una lunga giornata di lavoro!
In any case, I did my mask and there aren’t any redness. The face is very wet as soon as you remove it and the feeling of freshness and strong; after removing it, I took a cotton pad to dab the serum on my face because it was too much also if you want to massage on your face. Once the excess serum has been removed from the face, I can tell you that the skin is hydrated and luminous, but I also know that I feel small tingles here and there … I don’t know if it is given by a particular fact, but there is no redness and therefore it is an acceptable fact. Since the smell does not make me crazy, I passed a disk with Nuxe bio micellar water.
I like this mask, since I needed just a nice refresh to the skin after a long day at work!
